Aston Martin are trying to replicate the same success that Bentley have had with their SUB offering the Bentayga with their own, the DBX SUB which was first shown as a concept in 2015.
It seems that they have picked the DBX back off the shelf with the teaser of a silhouette which coincides with the new production facility, formerly a welsh air force base.
The DBX would form a big part of Aston Martins future the same as Maserati with the Levante going into the SUV market. Once fully functional Aston Martin are hoping to increase sales from 4k units a year to 7000 by 2020.
Under the hood, we can assume that it would be a hybrid offering or top end a twin turbo 5.2L V12.
