As if the Vulcan wasn’t extreme enough already, well Aston Martin didn’t think so!
Just revealed at Goodwood’s Festival of Speed, Aston Martin are calling this the ‘AMR Pro’, which basically takes their already insane track-only super/hypercar and cranks it up a few more notches.
The changes include new louvred panels on top of the front wheel arches. Huge new dive planes on each side of the nose and new turning vanes on the underside for improved steering response.
As for the back? Well you can’t miss that new even bigger rear wing that puts Lucille’s to shame!
2,950lb ft of downforce is now available, compared to the ‘standard’ Vulcan’s 2,323lb ft, and the Vantage GTE’s 2,289lb ft.
The AMR pack is provided by Aston’s Q division, and the first customer cars will be finished later this year. “When you get the aero working through a fast corner it really is an unbelievable feeling,” Darren Turner adds. “I can’t wait to see the customers’ faces when they experience it for themselves.”
