The First Production car of Faraday Futures 1050bhp has been shown
Unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show, this is Faraday Future’s ‘FF 91’ (Nine-One). It has serious performance figures, 1050bhp and a 0-60mph time of 2.39 seconds!
As with the reveal last year, it features a flexible chassis, allowing it to be used on a wide range of vehicle designs. It also features stringed batteries, making it very easy to swap out batteries without having to re-engineer the power packs.
It has multiple independant motors, although it’s not confirmed if the shown car is four-wheel-drive, it will also feature rear wheel steering, a 130kWh power pack (beating Tesla’s 100kWh) and they claim it can do over 435 miles!
Oh and a 50 percent recharge in 4.5 hours from a home charger!
As you can probably tell from the pictures – this is 1 tech heavy car!
The doors all feature sensors to prevent hitting anything or anyone. The doors also show the persons name as they approach along with charging status and make it aware to pedestrians that it is driving autonomously.
Inside, seats all feature heating, ventilation and massage options, along with a panoramic sun roof and variable tinting that responds at the touch of a finger.
Of course it wouldn’t be tech heavy without app support, with facial recognition allowing keyless entry, ten high definition cameras, 13 long and short range radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors that make up the 3D LIDAR system.
