Ferrari have announced the replacement for the F12 Berlinetta – the 812 Superfast!
Yes, it is actually called “Superfast”, a tribute to their heritage 500 Superfast from the 60’s
This is Ferrari’s most powerful NA engine to leave their factory, with its 6.5-litre V12 churning out 789bhp and 530lb ft torque, taking it to 62mph is just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 212mph.
Plenty of tech to help keep the 812 under control, Ferrari’s first electric power system (EPS), SSC which enters in to its 5th generation and Ferrari’s four-wheel steering system. Quite a bit of extra tech but inherits no extra weight over their existing F12’s.
Lots of styling tweaks too, with ever increasing vents and creases appearing on Supercars each generation, quad tail lights, new active flaps and a gorgeous red rear diffuser.
A new steering wheel design is seen inside and an evolution of the Berlinetta’s dash and styling.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast will be fully revealed at the 2017 Geneva motor show, which opens in early March.
