The millionaires toy, The Bugatti Veyron is facing a recall of at least 87 of its supercars built between 2006 and 2010.
So what’s the deal and are we going to be seeing Bugatti’s going cheap on EBay in the near future with fears of the wheels falling off? Well no not really. The red tape is all over the fuel gauge not keeping up as accurately as the bug can drink the stuff.
Regulators have spotted that the fuel gauge is showing more fuel in the tank than there actually is. What’s worse is that the recall was only issued 5 days after the actual problem was spotted. This doesn’t seem to be the only problem spotted with one of the world’s most expensive cars, it seems the jacking plates also seem to be corroding and coming off.
