Paris is on an emissions cut down mission, requiring all motorists to display a ‘Crit’Air sticker.
If you happen to be visiting the French capital, watch out as motorists will face a penalty fine for not displaying the sticker.
The stickers indicate the emissions level of the vehicle and all cars, motorbikes, vans and lorries are required to have the stickers – vehicles in the higher pollution level will be barred on days when the pollution levels are high.
Get caught not displaying a sticker – you may face fines between €68 to €135 (Between £59 and £117).
Stickers can be ordered online and cost 4 Euro, vehicles are separated into 6 categories, from the cleanest (Electric) to heavy dirty smog releasing diesels and supercars being in the higher bands.
