Subaru gives some updates to the WRX for 2018
Subaru don’t generally tend to tweak their tried and tested WRX and STI lineup much and 2018 isn’t much different but does see a number of changes.
Both models will see some exterior updates, including new front grilles, being both larger and lower creating a more aggressive look.
The WRX Limted model and all STI lineups receive LED headlights and the WRX gets larger 19 inch wheels.
On to the interior, where we see a larger screen in the centre console for all models, thicker door glass and foam insulation in the windshield header to help reduce road noise.
Lets not forget the all important cup holder! The arm rest has been upgraded with spots to locate you favourite beverage, Subaru also state materials used have been improved.
Both models now offer eight-way power adjustable Recaro seats – being fitted standard to the top spec STI and in the Performance Package upgrade on the WRX line up.
For those who like to travel, all models now feature roof rack mounting brackets.
The WRX Performance Package offers Recaro seats, uprated brakes (and painted red) and the removal of the moonroof to reduce weight
Both the WRX and STI also have retuned suspension all around.
